Intensive professional development weekends
The Producer's Workshop has been Women in Film & Television Vancouver's primary program since the organization's conception in 1989. Created to help members fund and create indigenous productions, this inaugural program attracted the best and brightest, created the first Producer's Workbook, and launched the careers of many of Vancouver's top female producers, directors and industry managers.
Today the workshops continue WIFTV's tradition of finessing the skills of women in the industry, contributing to the increase of locally produced motion pictures, and drawing headline panelists and sell-out crowds.
