Membership Categories & Fees

Membership categories and benefits vary according to levels of experience in the screen-based media industry.

Benefits at all levels include: free admission to the monthly Networking Breakfasts; access to the members-only section of the website (contains a member directory, job board, discussion forum, and exclusive offers to members); one free ticket to the annual VIFF Martini Madness event; reduced rates on WIFTV resources and programs; discounts on partner organization events and products; and the ability to connect worldwide with people in the industry.

Executive Member (EM):
Voting membership

Women who work or reside in BC and have ten (10) or more years of professional experience in the screen-based media industry. Applications must be accompanied by a resume/bio and supporting documentation.

Women who work or reside in BC and have five (5) or more years of professional experience in the screen-based media industry. Applications must be accompanied by a resume/bio and supporting documentation.

Associate Member (AM):
Non-voting membership

Women who work or reside in BC and have less than five (5) years of professional experience in the screen-based media industry. Applications must be accompanied by a resume/bio and supporting documentation.

After a maximum of five (5) years, must upgrade to Professional Member.

ALL MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES - Discounted Fees:

Fees for each of the above membership categories may be discounted for geographically distant (individuals living outside the BC Lower Mainland), individuals with disabilities, seniors (65+), and students (individuals currently enrolled full-time in an educational program). Applications for discounted membership fees (and renewals) must include a copy of current ID or applicable supporting documentation.
