Vancouver International
Women in Film Festival

WIFTV's Signature Event

VIWFF is the only film festival dedicated to women and gender diverse people in Western Canada, and one of just three international film festivals for women and gender diverse people in Canada.

18 Years of Diversity & Inclusion

Now in its 18th year. VIWFF continues to provide a platform for challenging gender inequity and the lack of diversity in the screen-based media industry through a combination of film screening, discussions, professional development and networking opportunities.

Thank you for attending VIWFF23!

The 2023 festival ran for 5 days March 7-11 in person at VIFF, encompassing International Women’s Day on March 8, and online from March 12-25.
